Helping those in need
We believe that part of our devotion to God includes helping those who are in need and less fortunate than ourselves. 1 John 3:17-18 says “But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.”
Our church encourages individuals and groups to serve organically as needs arise within the community. We also provide recommendations to these trusted organizations where people can volunteer or provide for needs:

At Cedar Heights, we believe that every Christian should cultivate a heart of helping those who are in need. As we go through this life, our response should be “see a need, meet a need.”
